The MOE OLive Run 2025 took place on 5th July 2025, and EduSport Singapore was proud to organise this annual event, which continues to grow in both scale and significance. The event brought together teachers and staff from the Ministry of Education (MOE), highlighting the importance of fitness, community, and camaraderie.
Community and Camaraderie
The MOE OLive Run is more than just a race. It is a meaningful platform where teachers and staff from MOE can come together to strengthen bonds and build camaraderie. Whether it was colleagues, friends, or families, the event encouraged unity and created an inclusive environment, promoting the spirit of togetherness while celebrating an active lifestyle.
Importance of a Healthy Lifestyle
Maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle is essential for overall well-being, and events like the MOE OLive Run are excellent reminders of the role physical activity plays in our lives. By encouraging participation in such events, we inspire individuals to take charge of their health and make fitness a part of their daily routine.
Event Categories and Participation
The event featured three categories, catering to teachers and MOE staff of varying fitness levels and interests:
- 10km Competitive Run: 218 runners
- 5km Run: 797 runners
- 3.6km Fun Walk: 521 walkers
This inclusive approach ensured that there was something for everyone, from seasoned runners to those looking for a fun and casual walk.
Fringe Activities
In addition to the main event, attendees enjoyed a variety of fringe activities, such as Dragon Boating and a Mass Zumba Workout, which added to the fun and vibrant atmosphere. The day was filled with laughter, joy, and positive energy, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Guest of Honour
We were honoured to have Ms Jasmin Lau, Minister of State (Education), as the Guest of Honour for the event, who added a special touch to the occasion.
